AYK Energy celebrates grand opening of new factory in Zhuhai with over 100 international visitors

On 5th of July, AYK Energy welcomed over 100 visitors from all over the world and celebrated the factory opening ceremony in our new factory in Zhuhai China. The new factory is equipped with the most advanced marine battery production line with the highest level automation and 300MWH annual capacity. In the afternoon, speakers shared their insights about the marine battery market in the Seminar session, after Chris Kruger released the AYK new members that will join our product portfolio soon.

Marine battery maker AYK Energy supplies Brittany Ferries with largest battery ever fitted to a ship
Marine battery manufacturer AYK Energy has installed the biggest marine battery in the world on board Brittany Ferries new hybrid LNG-electric ferry the Saint Malo. The 12 megawatt-hour (MWh) Orion+ battery was manufactured and installed within four months at China Merchants Jinling Shipyard Weihai. The ferry will operate the Portsmouth UK to St Malo France route starting early next year following successful sea trials.
