AYK Energy celebrates grand opening of new factory in Zhuhai with over 100 international visitors

On 5th of July, AYK Energy welcomed over 100 visitors from all over the world and celebrated the factory opening ceremony in our new factory in Zhuhai China. The new factory is equipped with the most advanced marine battery production line with the highest level automation and 300MWH annual capacity. In the afternoon, speakers shared their insights about the marine battery market in the Seminar session, after Chris Kruger released the AYK new members that will join our product portfolio soon.

AYK Energy completes the installation and sea trials for the second Brittany Ferries vessel to feature the biggest marine battery ever built. It installs the 12 megawatt-hour (MWh) Orion+ battery into Brittany Ferries Guillaume de Normandie hybrid electric ferry after installing the exact same battery system aboard its sister ship Saint-Malo at China Merchants Jinling Shipyard Weihai.
